Downloading & Saving Videos

Does anyone know how to download and save videos to your own computer? Any help appreciated.

I use "aTube Catcher". It's very simple, easy, fast and you can download videos from every site. Only have to paste the link, that easy. Even it has a search tool, very helpful.
It's freeware, so I guess there's no problem to post the link (official website)

And, if you don't want to install any program, there're several webs for this. I use "Force download", but only for small videos, and I've only tried with youtube vids. Don't know if it works with another sites, I guess so. But quality is not so good and it's not very safe.

Many YouTube videos allow you the option of downloading (as do quite a number of other videos too).

Otherwise I think you'll need a programme to 'copy' the video for you.
