When & how we are logged on

I have 3 devices iphone, ipad, and laptop.  not counting computers at work .... since ios7 ...i have found ipad does not automatically log off when closed .... has this always been the case ... on my phone with ios7 ALL PROGRAMMES STAY ON..until you double click and they are flicked up to end....  and if you are logged on to one device, why not all ???

It's murphy's law that when you really, really, want to say something you are on the tube/bus reading your phone (ugh) and NOT logged on...

But then I get home and find...Ta Da...ipad logged on all the time..

yes, this is the case. you will need to physically logged off each devices once you have finished.

Thanks so much for you reply...

On my computer I shut down and all gone, logged off everything ...but on other devices we have to physically log off...all seems a waste of time... why not automatically log on and off as you receive site on your device...

It says would you like to automatically log on off ... but it doesn't do it...well not for me  

And I am sure I have logged off ipad, then went back, sometimes days later, and it says logged on  

Just wondered if it happens to others ....?

Yes, I learnt ghetto hard way. So now I log off physically or I will double click on the button on mynad and it will log me off and save some battery power.
