all I want for Christmas is...

Ho, ho, ho.....

Ohhh, don't even talk to me about Christmas! We had our first Christmas meeting on Saturday (where we begin planning what we do over xmas and new year).

I'm in charge of buying gifts for the hotel guests, signing up the entertainment for the NYE party (my fault for having a big mouth and critisicing the trash we had this year) and also "advising" on decorations (by which I understand it to mean I choose the stuff from the catalogues, order it and tell people where to put it, and our housekeeping team understands to mean that I'll actually be spending the run up to Christmas decorating 23 trees, the lobby and 10 restaurants).

Give me George for Christmas any day!

Wow, and I thought America was the only place we start planning for Christmas in July. My sympathies to you, Katie.

Katie...A suggestion for NYE party...after dinner, free bubbly for an hour or so to get them mellow...then sit them all down for a film show...
Gone With the Wind should keep them occupied until the next year !
