George Clooney looked incredibly dapper as he attended a press conference at Winter Garden Theatre in New York City on Thursday, where director David Cromer announced the complete broadway cast of Good Night, and Good Luck.
The American actor, 63, who will play journalist Edward R. Murrow in the adaptation of his 2005 film Good Night, and Good Luck, wore a sharp grey wool coat paired with a green turtleneck jumper.
He appeared in high spirits as he joined his long-time friend Grant Heslov, 61, and several cast members.
During the press conference, George spoke enthusiastically about the new play, saying: 'We're very excited to be doing this play. We're excited to be here.'
'I want to introduce a couple of people here who are responsible for the play being here in general.'
'First is my partner for 40 years, Grant Heslov - Grant, come up here and say hi.' (Grant says Hi) George joked: 'That's it, that's all you get to say, Grant.'

He continued: 'The fun part about this is we get to do a play about a subject matter that's very close to our hearts, which is about everything that you guys all do - telling the truth and holding truth to power.'
'So it's a play we're very excited to do. It's not a civics lesson, it's entertainment, and we're very excited to start. We've already started rehearsals, and I'm older by 40 years than everybody else in the play.'
George then introduced director David, 60, who announced the full cast and crew.
Based on the 2005 movie about pioneering TV journalist Edward R. Murrow set during the McCarthy Era, George will portray Murrow.
He co-wrote the play adaptation with Grant, just as they did the original screenplay.
In the film, David Strathairn played Murrow, while George portrayed the head of CBS, Fred Friendly.
Directed by David, Good Night, and Good Luck will begin preview performances at the Winter Garden Theatre on March 12, with an opening night set for April 3.
Joining George in portraying real-life characters are Brandt as Colonel Anderson, Will Dagger as Don Hewitt, Christopher Denham as John Aaron, Glenn Fleshler as Fred Friendly, Glazer as Shirley Wershba, Gregg as Don Hollenbeck, Gross as William F. Paley, Georgia Heers as Ella, Carter Hudson as Joe Wershba, Fran Kranz as Palmer Williams, Jennifer Morris as Millie Green, Michael Nathanson as Eddie Scott, Andrew Polk as Charlie Mack and Aaron Roman Weiner as Don Surine.
