October Chit Chat

Time to let go of summer.  Fall is officially here.  Christmas is around the corner and all I keep hearing is how people better start shopping super early because of the major shortage of all kinds of products this year.  Anything with semiconductors,  toys, games, appliances.  Yikes!
I ordered two items in the spring and they still have not arrived yet.  One is a new dishwasher.  
My current dishwasher is my hubby and I’m not sure how much longer he’ll last .

Donnamarie - Better take good care of him. He'd be a lot harder to replace than the one you ordered!

Do you know what I did Saturday night? I went to the movies with my husband to watch the new James Bond movie.
Never thought I could get excited about going to a cinema to watch a movie...

I really enjoyed it. A lot of action, beautiful landscapes, some loose ends and illogical actions and turns - as usual when it comes to James Bond. The last Bond movie I'd seen in a cinema and not on tv was 'Octopussy' with Roger Moore in 1983 (I actually remember this because it was my first visit to a cinema ever), but most cinemas here have just reopened over the last few weeks. So it wasn't actually Bond (or Daniel Craig) who drove me but the wish to return to reality...

I guess we'll all be getting back to normal a little at a time. Going to a movie is about as normal as you can get. I'm glad you had a good time and enjoyed the movie.
