Weinstein and knowledge thereof

She is now Rose McGowan's lawyer for her case against Weinstein - so I have a feeling George may know a little bit more than he's able to say

I see Les Moonves, another George friend, is having a few problems.............

I don't know if/what George knew about Weinstein, but I think if he did know of someone mistreating a woman he knew he might try to handle it himself - like Brad supposedly did with Jen - and not go public with it. I could be wrong, but I think he'd have to be really angry or feel really pressured to get publicly involved in a situation like that. I think he'd try to handle it behind the scenes.

Rose McGowan has a legitimate case against Weinstein but I don't think she's helping herself by being so vocal about her feeling that she's being retaliated against by some nefarious people supposedly affiliated with him. A friend of mine thinks McGowan is suffering from "Joan of Arc" syndrome and enjoying playing the martyr. I would't go that far, but I do think some of the publicity she's gotten has gone to her head. Maybe she needs to take a little time away from the movement and regroup.

Well if the Clooneys should be in touch with Robinson they might have a bit knowledge from that perspective.

Yep I tend to agree with you altho the martyr opinion wd be understable - and the cynic in me wonders if she's getting offers of work because of it - or if being so incredibly visible might cause problems in that way too.....

I don't think she's been working for a while and her leading a movement to expose men in power probably osn't helping her career. I get the feeling that she's got problems aside from her work issues.
