I'm just playing around with the forum again. Not happy with the blog feature so hidden it for the time being. Don't be surprised at sudden lurches and menu items appearing and disappearing in the column to the left while I try things out!

Just a note to say that I'll be cleaning out the member list this weekend. I'm not a big believer in keeping huge membership when most of those are inactive, so anyone who hasn't logged on in the past three months will go.

I'll send them an email as well to give them a chance to log on or let me know to keep them as members.

Anyone who has visited here or joined since 30 June is fine and I won't touch their account.

Ok, as it's already the afternoon of Christmas eve here, we've got falling snowmen and falling snow on the site.

It's running fine on my computer but let me know if you have any difficulties.

Ps: the 2011 countdown is of course the number of days/hours left till the end of 2011 and not in any way whatsoever a widget I had left over from last year, nuh huh, not all, nope.

The snowmen are nice and everything but with them floating down on the screen every every time I need to go to another topic it takes a looong time to get there. It makes my computer sluggish. Bad enough I'm sluggish in the morning. LOL

I found that the "view posts since last visit" takes a few seconds to become live in order to action it after snowmen start to fall.
But after then it's OK.

The falling snowmen are lovely, but the top half of the forum, no matter what page is totally unclickable including some threads. I can't log out either. I'm here in this thread now because I opened in IE. The snowpeople do not work with Firefox. I may still be logged in through Firefox when I shut down the computer.

Same here, the computer I'm using can not handle the snowmen. Even other website with OH open won't work properly. Sorry Katie, just not working great this year. I'm sure the countdown clock should be okay since its motionless.

Have a thought Katie... Should the game scores (on posts) also be included, with the overall scores???

I noticed that my numbers increased with the games... and they are NOT George related... BUT I became a "Clooney Expert"??? I don't feel right Very Happy

Sorry, wish I could, but can't set it up that way. Your status increases with every post that you make on the site.

Your clooney-liciousness points only come from people giving you a green line though so that's not affected by how many times you post in the games section.
