I like the name that the royal couple chose, however, I was thinking that George Michael Spencer would have been nice. George for the history, Michael for Kate's dad, and Spencer- the maiden name of Diana.

I did wonder why they didn't include some part of the name in deference to Prince William's mother Diana...that would have been the only change I think needed. She should be reflected in the name of her grandson...that would have been perfect.

You don't need to read what I found...but the site I found said they never met (ppl on this site will probably be better informed) but that he gave a press conference, about media intrusion and paparazzi in general...suppose he was in the eye of it himself, or affecting his family and friends..... nice thing to do...x

I get the impression if she was still alive, she'd adore him as one of her favorite actors (his style, appearance, films, personality). And maybe she had seen "One Fine Day" or ER & really enjoyed them. She was two months younger than George too, so same age group.

Princess Diana was very involved & endearing to popular culture, hence her enormous influence.

It was pretty infamous. The speech he gave was directed at the paps and then at the next event he went to they all pulled their cameras up as he walked by I guess in protest of his comments.

His own loved ones, (and I presume you mean his immediate family) are low-key, kind & modest people.
Ada had no qualms about being interviewed last October to speak up in defense of her brother & provide a glimpse of her lifestyle. She left an indelible positive impression.
His parents are humble & unassuming people, despite having a such a high profile son.
They all seem very modest.
Luckily no one bothers them. Perhaps they're vigilante enough to avoid those situations.
