One area that he has not been as successful in is love. His first marriage was to Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993, which ended in divorce. He has been in and out of the dating scene but has commented that he would not take the plunge into marriage for the second time. One would think that would have some bearing on the women that he dates, but he continues to have long lasting relationships without ever putting a ring on her finger.
