Close to 400 guests, including Senator Rob Portman (R-OH), enjoyed a perfect late summer evening garden party at Parkmour, the home of Doug and Beth Brendamour in Indian Hill for the 8th annual Bloom for Stepping Stones. The event raised a record $200,000 for the organization, which funds programs for people with disabilities.

Stepping Stones is a United Way partner agency serving close to 1,000 children and adults with disabilities annually. Programs are in Indian Hill and Batavia and include summer camps, year-round autism education and adult programs, weekend respites, preschool and Saturday Kids Club. Stepping Stones was founded in 1963 as Greater Cincinnati’s first summer camp for children with disabilities.

They look great! Nick looks alot more "healthy" than he did a few months ago.

Norma Rashid was an news anchor for WLWT-TV (Cincinnati NBC affiliate) in the 1980's. Jerry Springer (the infamous talk show host) was her co-anchor, and he also was the mayor of Cincinnati in the 1970's. He left Cincinnati in 1986 to do his talk show in Chicago.
