New homepage

Katie, thanks EVER SO MUCH for the redesigning of our forum. It just looks so cool.

How does she stay that motivated ? It puzzles me.

Because Katie is a Clooney fan and wants the rest of her Clooney fans to enjoy this site Atalante. She's put alot of work into it for our enjoyment.

With that said, we've got shocking internet connection here so I'm temporarily hiding the home page because I'm not going to be able to update it for a while.

Ok, I've revived the homepage again. I was thinking not to include too much Stacy Keibler stuff unless you all think otherwise? Let me know what you think.

Sorry cindi. I've taken it off for the time being. I've got to go to bed now so I'll take another look at it tomrrow.

Ok, the new homepage is back again. This time I hope it works for you cindigirl!

To reach the forum, you either click on the button at the top of the screen called [surprisingly enough] 'forum'. Or you can just click on the picture of George at the very top left of the screen.

Katie, thanks for the new homepage, am beginning to appreciate not having to wait out game thread after game thread when first logging on to site.

Lucy, I got tired of scrolling through the game threads on the daily listing so instead to save time (and patience) I click on "View Posts Since Last visit" on the top of the screen. You can then see a list of the topics you're interested in that you haven't already seen.

And, Katie, thanks, you did solve my problem with the forum.

Thanks cindigirl, I really have no right to complain, since I don't contribute anything but comments, but I do come here for my daily George fix, so I'm not into all the games.

That's OK Lucy, what is life if we can't complain. LOL I used to complain to myself until I devised the above devious plan that works for me. My philosophy is if you can't beat them, join them.

Come over to the games...we have fun there....
and are very friendly with it

When I come for a visit, I just go from topic to topic - everything that's "lit up" with the orange circle thingy. I don't use the rolling scroll on the side as that only has a few of the posts, not all of them. And I don't go to "view posts..." as sometimes I get kicked out and it thinks I read everything. I just click on to the ones that I'm interested in. ALL OF THEM!!!! just my 2 cents...

Me, too. I do the same thing. Now there's 4 cents in the pot.....

Let's make it 5 cents: I always skip the games threads too and they really, really annoy me. The anger when I log in and see there are 15 new threads since my last visit only to discover 9 of them are games threads is hard to describe.

However, those who play seem to enjoy them, so what to do?

Katie, I don't want to seem like I'm beating a dead horse, but regarding the games on the listings, is there ANY way you can merge all the games into ONE thread instead of having them listed individually?

That sounds like a huge endeavor but would so much appreciated.

I don't understand...the games are in a separate thread on the listings of threads after clicking on Forum, so they can easily be ignored.

Hi Joanna, I know the games have their own thread but the thing is that the games are listed separately on "Latest Topics". Some of us come onto this forum to view comments about George only. It was the easiest way to search but some days the games take up almost all of the topics on the list. But now I just go into either "posts since last visit" or "view my posts", or go through all the threads. It takes longer but it gets me there.

That's always the best way anyway cindi....not all of the new postings are listed on the rolling thingy and you can easily miss some new ones each time you come on....and that would not be good !!
