George Clooney Suits Up and Signs Autographs at Regis and Kelly’s Studio

George Clooney was on Live With Regis and Kelly today to talk about his latest directorial effort The Ides of March. George premiered the movie last night in NYC with his costars Evan Rachel Wood, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Paul Giamatti, but Ryan Gosling wasn’t on hand for the film’s East Coast debut. He’s been tied up in LA working on his next film, The Gangster Squad, in recent weeks. We chatted with George last night on the red carpet, where he talked about filming the political thriller in the Midwest and some of the odd jobs he worked before he was well-known. Before making his way to the event last night, George stopped by the Time, Inc. offices for a live interview. George said he’d never join Twitter, joked about casting Ryan Gosling in his film because he was “cheaper” than other stars, and also shrugged off the thought of running for political office himself during the chat.

How was the interview with Regis? George looks good must be going through a stripe mood first the suit now the shirt he looks good though. Glad he wore the sunnies so you can still see his eyes.

Interview with Regis was much better than last night's Letterman. He looked rested and relaxed. And this was a live show at 9:00 am in NY after the premiere and afterparty the night before. I personally thought he was great. Completely George, smooth, charming, funny. Rhetoric was pretty much the same as all his interviews have been- pushing IOM with Sudan & odd patter on the side. Was again almost the whole show. Rachel Bilson came on at 9:45. Show ends at 10.

Oh, laetval, that was such a small part of the interview. I'd say he was on for the better part of 30 min. and that was only a one min. clip. Hope you can find more.

Yes, we'll have to wait for youtubestuff. My neighbour has a sateliteantenne but he's in China for two weeks. Duh !
