Clooney to address Asian investors

Hollywood star George Clooney is to be a key speaker at the annual Investor Forum (19-23 Sep) in Hong Kong hosted by financial brokerage CLSA Asia-Pacific.

Billed as a celebrated actor, producer, screenwriter, director, and human rights activist, Clooney will on Wed 21 Sep discuss his career, life outside Hollywood, activism and his Africa human rights and peace promotion work. This includes the Satellite Sentinel Project which as recently as 24 August 2011 published evidence of two new mass graves around the disputed border area of South Sudan.

The high profile conference has hosted presidents, prime ministers, and Nobel prize-winners. Recent speakers have included Francis Ford Coppola, Michael Douglas, Bill Clinton and Sarah Palin.
